Just some random pics from around the house

Can anyone say "bed-head"? Miss Amelie can sure look cute when I fix her up, but when she wakes up her hair often looks like this.

Professor Chase put this whole 45 piece dinosaur puzzle together by himself. He couldn't see all that well at first, so he borrowed Mr. Potato Head's glasses and as soon as he put them on everything became much clearer. (He really did wear the glasses the whole time he put the puzzle together. It's amazing he was able to see at all)

I found these 2 superheros running around town and asked if I could get a picture. They said as long as I was quick, because they had some saving the world to do.

One of the great advantages of having kids close in age is the way they play together. Thanks for keeping us safe Chase and Amelie!

Hey Rick and Amber this is your cousins Benji and Melissa Ellis. I have been reading your blog for sometime now but haven't ever commented. I couldn't pass it up this time. The picture of Chase in his Mr. Potatoe head glasses is just awesome. I can't wait until Logan does silly things like that. You have some very cute kids.

Amber- Just found your blog!So far it's great!I love the picture of Chase and the potato head glasses-My kids do that to...Only they're "Miss Donna" our Storytime Librarian.
This is so cute! It reminds me of Jaden and Joce. She will probably be somewhat of a tomboy growing up with Chase, but it's fun to have a "tough" girl. I'm so happy you have this blog. I love it!

To sum it up

To sum up the last 9 months... We went to Disney World and Universal in March with Rick’s family. It was a BLAST! Favorite part was Harry Potter world. Favorite ride was Rockin’ Roller coaster, or Hogwarts castle, or the Avatar ride.  Rick and I coached track March-May. It was fun but stressful. I like doing something for the community. I don’t like running a program w my husband and not enough adult help.   Kids finished school in May and we went on a camping trip Memorial weekend to St Joe State Park with our favorite people, Richardsons. Some other ward families came too. Marcellino’s and Smith’s.  Summer hit, Soleil got baptized, and Rick got a job offer to work for Cricut in Utah. Finally a job closer to family! We spent three very stressful weeks prepping our house for sale and then took off to Utah driving both our cars on July 13th.  The following week we vacationed in Lake Powell with my family. After coming home from that we settled into Heather’s basement ...

2019 is my year to Be Prepared

Last year I decided to make a goal that involved one phrase, no guilt. That phrase stuck in my mind all year long, and guided me through a lot of situations. I found by the end of the year, that I really had changed because of those two words. In all the years past that I have set goals, I have set very specific reachable things. I always find that a few months into the year my motivation drops off and I don’t follow through with the goal. By the end of the year I either feel disappointed in myself, or I can’t even remember what my goal was to begin with. Last year was different in a very good way. So I’ve decided to do the same thing this year. After pondering and praying about what my goal should be this year, I came up with the phrase be prepared. There are so many ways to be prepared in life, spiritually, physically, temporarily, etc. I find that a lot of my stress on a daily basis could be remedied if I had only spent a little time before hand to prepare for that moment for that s...

Golf date

We went on a group date Friday night with our best friends here in St Louis, Wilson’s and Richardson’s. We went to a new place in Chesterfield called Top Golf. We ate yummy food and visited while we hit golf balls off a platform. It was the first time I had ever hit golf balls in a real way, aside from miniature golf. It was harder than it looks. Everyone had fun and I came home sore.
