Our Move

For those unaware, this past couple months have been quite hectic. Rick took a job with Eli Lilly as a Pharmaceutical Rep in Boston, MA, so at the end of October we moved out here to begin a new chapter in the Swensen family, HAVING A JOB! We were very excited and a little nervous for this new experience, but so far it has proved to be worth it. After going through the trials of moving cross-country, we are finally settling into our new home. Chase is loving the extra space to run around and is growing every day. Rick is busy training for his new job and ready to start working instead of studying medicines. And I am making friends at church and feeling very ready for this next baby to arrive NOW instead of Feb. 5th. We're grateful to be out here, miss family and friends, but look forward to growing and experiencing new things together here in Boston.
Our new home. We are renting at the moment and loving having a place to call our own.

Can't waste any of that sugar.
Mmmmm...Mmmmm....Good
Did I get everything off my face?
Mr. Incredible showing off his strength while jack-jack has no idea what's going on.
Forget the pumpkin, I'm holding the candy myself.
"Jack-Jack"
Chase started growing the cutest curls on the back of his head, but we had to cut them off b/c the rest of his hair wouldn't grow and it looked like a mullet. I was sad :(
Chase going down the slide with his cousin Isaac. Weeeee!
We are expecting a baby GIRL on Feb. 5th! We are so excited to add a second bundle of joy to our family! This is my tummy progress at 22 weeks.
Captain Rick stearing the USS Constitution ship.
We took a boat ride and saw a beautiful view of the Boston skyline.
While Rick was interviewing in Boston, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at this seafood restaurant overlooking the harbor. It was a beautiful day and we felt like we were on our 2nd honeymoon.

We Are Moving!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Rick graduated from BYU in Aug 2006. He has spent the last 2 months job searching, and has now taken a position with as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep with Eli Lilly in Boston, MA. We will be moving next week so he can start his job Oct. 25 . He has committed to a minimum of 4 years, and if things go according to plan, we hope to be back in the West (preferably Boise) sometime after that. We are excited for this new step in our lives, and will keep you updated via pictures and posts. We love you all!
"Hey, it's pretty good!"
"Hmmm, I don't know about this?"
"Mom, when can I blow?"
"Oh boy oh boy oh boy...this looks good!"
Playing with his train. He loved pushing on the yellow smoke stack and hearing the train sounds.
Aunt Heather gave him this boat to play with at the pool. He wanted to climb right in and squealed when we pulled him around on the carpet.
Cousins Jasper and Ruby helped open gifts. Chase was very grateful cuz it was a lot of work for just one kid!
We continued the birthday festivities on Sunday at Grandma & Grandpa Swensen's house. Mom and dad gave chase a train. Once it came out of the box, he loved it!
