BYU Football Camp

Fathers and Teenagers

Great men make great dads.  It was great to spend Father's Day with Rick's father this year. It was a big day because we also celebrated Chase's induction into teenage-hood.   13 years for this boy.

Moab Trip #2

8 years ago, we took a trip to Moab in a rented RV with Karl and Virginia.  Chase and Amelie were 5 and 3 and Sawyer was about 6 months old.  They loved it, but don't have a lot of memories of it.  Since it was such a big hit, Karl and Virginia decided to provide that experience again for our family! They rented an RV from a couple who lives in American Fork.  We picked the RV up on Monday, June 11th , and learned how it worked. Tuesday we packed it up and left for Moab.  The kids enjoyed riding on the bunk beds and eating snacks at the table while grandpa drove.  I worked on my crocheting and read a book in the bed.  It was a wonderful way to travel!  We pulled into our campsite at Portal RV Resort just before dark and set up camp and enjoyed falling asleep to the movie A Wrinkle in Time.
