Family Night at Costco

So we decided to spend Friday night at the greatest store on earth...COSTCO! It's great because it's got electronics for Rick, home decor for me, and toys for the kids! I like pushing them together in the 2-seater "carraige" as new-englanders call them. Here they are looking around. Still looking around. Oh, they finally noticed me. Chase goes in for the hug in front of the camera to prove he's a good brother. As you can see, it's usually a neck squeeze and Amelie gets a little nervous. Phew! Glad that's over. It's ok mom, I still have my head.

Fall in New England

New England has the most beautiful colors of leaves this time of year. We've heard so much about them that we decided to go "leaf-peeping" as they call it on Saturday morning. Here's what we found. Driving through roads like this was one of our favorites. It made us forget about the world and get lost in the simple beauty of the earth. We happened upon these deer and had to get a picture. This tree was all 4 colors at once: fire red, orange, yellow, and green. Even the freeway is a gorgeous drive. On the way home we stopped at this pumpkin farm. Chase chose his very own pumpkin, but it took him a while. He kept touching one and saying "no", then he'd go to the next one and touch it and say "no". He was in heaven.
