OK, I've been slacking on the job posting new pics and my friend Niki has called me on it. So....I'm repenting by updating with A LOT of new photos (take that Niki!). These ones are a little late since Amelie's birthday was in February, but "better late than never" I always say. So enjoy these pics of our LITTLE PRINCESS! (Thanks Diana for taking the photos;)

We had a 2nd easter egg hunt on the Saturday before Easter with some neighborhood friends. Kids can't get enough of egg hunting, especially when there's a motive...CANDY! We caught Chase coming out of the trees with his girlfriend. Maybe it's time we give him "the talk". Can you see it written all over her face? "What the heck is this girl saying to me?"

This was the primary Easter Egg Hunt. Waiting in the primary room to go outside... Still waiting.... Coloring to pass the time....still waiting.... Ready, set, GO!!!! All she needed was one for each hand. Alright, let's see what we got. Quick, he's not looking! Ooh, that one looks good. Why do they make these things so hard to open? Here mom, don't need this part anymore. Sorry, can't talk now.

So I haven't been on here in a while and now I'm repenting by posting LOTS of pictures. This was "Elmo Day" and the kids were being silly.

I've been tagged twice now and need to follow through with my responsibilities. You know, Rick and I did these Myers-Briggs personality tests and I'm a "duty-fulfiller". So I guess that means if you ask me to do something, I just have to do it. Here it goes. Hubby Tag: What is his name? Richard James Swensen, or King Richard, or King James, yes I married royalty How long have you been married? 5 years March 21st! How long did you date? Let's see, we met in July, didn't technically start dating until September, and then married the following March so....7 months? Who eats more sweets? I do by far! Rick is always "watching" what he eats (men don't call it dieting) and I just tempt him with cookies and brownies and ice cream and such. He always gives in to the ice cream. Who said I love you first? Honestly, I can't remember. I just asked Rick and he can't remember either. I guess it was just love at first sight...jk, we're no...

I need some help. We're tired of having the same things for dinner over and over. Can any of you give me some yummy recipe ideas for dinners? If any of you know me well, you'll recall that I'm not the greatest cook nor do I enjoy spending time in the kitchen, so quick and easy things are much preferred. Please help me! (for my husband's sake) Here's one of our favorite recipes: Crumbly Chicken Rice Casserole 12 oz. sour cream 1 can cream of chicken soup 3 c. cooked cut-up chicken 2 c. cooked rice 1 tube Ritz crackers 3/4 stick butter 2 T. poppy seed 1. Mix soup + sour cream together in bowl. 2. In separate bowl crush crackers, add poppy seed + butter. 3. In 9x13 pan layer 1/2 soup mix, 1/2 rice, all chicken. Then rest of rice, rest of soup mix. Top with cracker mix. 4. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 for 30 min.

Rick and I are big fans of this show this season. We haven't followed every season, but we really got into it this year. We love this kid, DAVID ARCHULETA. He is sooo incredibly talented and his voice is beautiful! Do us (and him) a favor and vote him to the top! Check out his performance last week below.
