It is so fun to see the world through the mind of a child. Especially when they talk really well but are still very young. I love the way they describe things and twist words around, and are so unashamed about it. I gave Soleil and Sawyer pennies at the grocery checkout line and they were so pleased. Upon inspection Soleil told me hers had a "human" on it. Yes a human. Why didn't she use the word "person", or "guy", or something more toddlerish? Because she is Soleil, and he was a human. Sawyer said his had a prophet on it. Probably Pres Monson he said. Oh the day when a Mormon prophet is on a Penny. Haha! I informed them both that it wasn't a prophet, but a guy named Abraham Lincoln. Soleil's interpretation was Abraham Hincklin. Haha! She pretty much combined a prophet with a President. Good enough Soleil, good enough.
