Our Trip to NEW YORK CITY!

Times Square! We're so glad we're not there for New Year's Eve because it was soooo crowded. The Big Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Plaza. The famous Radio City Music Hall where the Rockettes perform and many famous musicians have performed. As a tourist next to me put it, "this is a little bit of Vegas in New York City." Trump Tower is full of glitz, glam, gold and marble, everything shiny and expensive. He lives in the top floor with his family. We couldn't pass by FAO Schwartz for Chase. It was a grand toy store. I picked up a stuffed gorilla that I thought Chase might like and looked at the price....$250!!!! I looked at Rick and said "Are they serious?" Yes, they were serious. Luckily we were able to find him this tiger for much less than that, and he LOVED it! He carried it everywhere and slept with it every night. Didn't go to a show but we were there! The Empire State Building. We took a bus tour of the city and were dropped off at ...

Merry Christmas!

Had a hard time keeping Amelie still for this picture. Chase was trying to help but to no avail. Here they are on Christmas Eve in their pjs. Chase's favorite Christmas toy has been his race cars from the movie Cars. He carries them everywhere, takes a bath with them, sleeps with them, and never lets them out of his sight.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We celebrated Halloween at the church parking lot trunk-or-treating. Chase was a little confused since it was really his first experience (the past 2 yrs he doesn't remember). But he enjoyed being able to say "twick-o-tweat" and getting candy. I took some pictures of the kids at a beautiful cemetery down the street from our house. The leaves were beautiful and they had fun playing in them. I couldn't keep the leaves out of Amelie's mouth.

Family Night at Costco

So we decided to spend Friday night at the greatest store on earth...COSTCO! It's great because it's got electronics for Rick, home decor for me, and toys for the kids! I like pushing them together in the 2-seater "carraige" as new-englanders call them. Here they are looking around. Still looking around. Oh, they finally noticed me. Chase goes in for the hug in front of the camera to prove he's a good brother. As you can see, it's usually a neck squeeze and Amelie gets a little nervous. Phew! Glad that's over. It's ok mom, I still have my head.
