Peek-a-boo Amelie

Amelie does not like to lean back. Even when I put her in the highchair to play with her toys she sits forward and peeks through. Of course she LOOOVES to suck on anything in her hands now too. This toy is a favorite because it vibrates when she bites on it. (Thanks Nana!)

Happy Birthday Chase!

Chase turned 2 years old on June 17th. I can't believe 2 years has gone! He had fun swimming and eating cake with his friends.

Becoming Friends

Chase and Amelie are really starting to play with each other and it is so cute. They love to lay on my bed and watch the cars go by outside. Chase says "Amelie, see cars? Amelie, see trees?" and she just watches him with admiration.

Exploring Boston

Steve came to visit so we went downtown to the park (this is the big park downtown. It is called Boston Common because it use to be the common grazing ground for residents to bring their livestock to feed). Make Way for Ducklings statue Swan Pond Boston Babies

Chase the Lion

One of Chase's favorite things to do is crawl around on the floor very stealthily and roar like a lion. Well you can imagine how much fun he had wearing his friend's old Halloween costume. Actually, he got bored of it very quickly but I sure had fun taking pictures. He had a hayday for about 2 minutes and then decided he was more interested in watching Nemo.

Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge

We took a Sunday walk through the most beautiful cemetery we had ever seen! It was more like a park/nature walk. There's a hill you can climb to get a view of the Boston skyline. Chase really enjoyed picking up the flowers. By the time we left he had about 5 in one hand, all scrunched in a ball - definitely wilted by then.

Around the House

Chase fell asleep on our bed watching a movie. Chase LOOOOVES his binkies! He figured out how to climb into Amelie's swing all by himself! He was pretty proud.
